MARCONI100 will be the new nVIDIA accelerated partition of MARCONI
We are pleased to announce that pre-production phase of a new accelerated HPC system has started. The production phase of Marconi 100 is aspected to start on Monday, April 27th. This system, equipped with NVIDIA Volta V100 GPUs, opens the way to the pre-exascale Leonardo supercomputer expected to be installed in 2021.
The new system enhances and replaces the A2 partition of Marconi (KNL) that has been definitively shut down early January 2020.
