Leonardo supercomputer will be ready in the next months!
We are happy to announce that the construction of the data center Bologna Technopole will be completed by the end of Junesoon, ready to host Leonardo, the new pre-exascale supercomputer. The delivery of the various components of the supercomputer will begin mid July and will continue throughout the summer, at the same time the installation will begin, with the aim of implementing Leonardo by the Autumn.
The European supercomputer Leonardo, managed by Cineca, will be based on Atos BullSequana XH2000 technology, and feature nearly 14,000 NVIDIA Ampere architecture-based GPUs and NVIDIA Mellanox HDR InfiniBand. It will deliver 10 exaflops of FP16 AI performance.
